Repair, restoration and specialist watch care

Services are offered across the Netherlands by appointment and are tailored to the technical condition, construction and age of each watch.

Mechanical Watch Service

Purpose: Restore reliable operation where appropriate.

Typical scope: Inspection, movement assessment, controlled disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, reassembly, regulation and functional checks. Replacement of worn parts is recommended only when justified.

Format: Workshop service after assessment.

Quartz Watch Diagnostics

Purpose: Identify battery, contact, coil, circuit, motor or mechanical train issues.

Typical scope: Battery condition check, basic electrical testing, movement inspection and practical repair recommendations.

Format: Appointment-based inspection.

Vintage Watch Restoration

Purpose: Improve function and stability while protecting historical character.

Typical scope: Movement work, crystal assessment, crown/stem review, case cleaning and careful cosmetic work only when appropriate.

Case & Bracelet Refinement

Purpose: Improve cleanliness and appearance without erasing important geometry or original finishes.

Typical scope: Cleaning, light refinishing, bracelet inspection and component assessment. Heavy polishing is avoided when it could reduce historical integrity.

Water-Resistance Checks

Purpose: Assess sealing condition after relevant service work.

Important: Testing results apply to the condition at the time of testing and do not constitute a permanent guarantee of water resistance.

Collector Consultation

Purpose: Educational support for understanding categories, condition, originality, care and documentation.

Format: In-person or remote educational consultation for clients in the Netherlands where suitable.

Educational courses & sessions

Introduction to Mechanical Watches

A beginner-friendly session covering movement types, basic terminology, visible components, winding systems and everyday care. Includes guided observation tasks and a maintenance checklist.

Duration: approximately 90 minutes.

Vintage Watch Collecting Basics

An educational session on age, condition, originality, dial and case features, documentation and responsible purchase research. No investment or resale outcome is promised.

Duration: approximately 2 hours.

Preservation & Storage Workshop

Practical instruction on storage, moisture, magnetism, strap care, cleaning boundaries, transport and when to seek professional service.

Duration: approximately 75 minutes.
